WHO WE ARE
In accordance with laws governing non-profit making organizations especially Law n°04/2012 of 17/02/2012 governing the Organization and the Functioning of national non-governmental Organizations, the growers of macadamia decide to create «Macadamia Society of Rwanda» «MSR» in order to contribute to the sustainable development of Rwanda through the promotion of macadamia growing. The Organization is composed of 187 founder members, ordinary members and honorary members.
Mission
MSR is committed to producing quality, clean and safe macadamia nuts, in accordance with local and international standards
Vision
Protecting the environment through macadamia development and improving people’s life conditions.
Objectives
- Coordinating macadamia farmers and promoting macadamia farming in Rwanda
- Advocacy and capacity building to increase macadamia production and market
- Ensure the liaison between different administrative institutions and the macadamia growers
- Promoting a culture of collaboration and membership engagement for their betterment
